One problem of early birds is that you have to wait for quite long hours until the one you've been waiting for arrive. It's no different today since I have to wait for more than an hour and the tea shop nearby is still close. So I, together with a friend, opted to try and stay at Patio Jardin Cafe.

I have heard that this is an event place but recently they had opened a small café as well. The place was cozy and serene. Unlike Starbucks, this place is not so populated hence is a good place to have a chat with friends.

We met one staff who man the café. He is so nice and accommodating. He is actually very friendly.

We ordered frappuccino that costs a hundred each but they also have other food and drink products.

I have never seen the venue where the events are hels for it is closed but the café is very nice. Definitely a place for chit chat, study or just to enjoy a cup of coffee.

I was looking for a place to study and came across this coffee house at Ortigas. 

OVERVIEW:

Subspace Coffee House is located at Grand Emerald Tower in Ortigas. Its exact address is Unit 103, GF Grand Emerald Tower, F. Ortigas Jr. Road, Ortigas Center, 1606 Pasig. This place is walking distance from Robinson's Galleria Mall.

Not only that, this coffee house also plays K-pop songs. All throughout my stay in the store only K-pop songs were played and they also sell some K-pop merchandise like posters and pins. Cool! (:

SERVICE:

The barista were nice but they are not as friendly as the barista of other coffee shops. They, however, are willing to help ever customer anyway.

FOODIES:

The coffee shop offers traditional coffee products but they have their own products as well like purple potato latte, peanut butter latte, etc. I tried their Peanut Butter Latte which tasted weird at first but as I continue to drink it I eventually liked its taste.

Also, unlike most coffee shops, they serve milk shakes and milk teas. All in one store actually. Of course, they serve cakes, donuts sandwiches and waffles for hungry customers too. Here's a copy of their menu and best sellers (I failed to have good shots though, sorry!).

I'll definitely study here again - quiet, calm and cozy. I actually have my spot. (: When I go back in this place I'll try their milk shake and red velvet cake...

So for foodies and K-Pop fanatics out there this place is indeed a must visit place. (:

Journey to PLE Journal #8

I went to go to Ayala to supposedly meet a friend. While waiting, I was reminded of Starbucks’ at 6750. This was the place where The Morning Rush (DJs Chico, Gino and Delamar of RX 93.1) had their outdoor broadcast during the launch day of the Starbuck’s card. During that time, I wanted to go there to see the trio but failed to wake up early. That event made me too curious and today I was able to visit and study there.

I am really fascinated with the place - spacious, elegant and cozy. I am indeed so amused from the moment I entered their place up to the time I left it. Here are some photos of the coffee shop.

If only I am not that shy to photograph each and every corner of that store I definitely would. I will visit the store again sometime in spite its distance from where I live in.

I think I just found another perfect study place for me – someplace which made me feel just like home.
